north & south luangwa national park, zambezi river
Lusaka was the starting point for a three-week safari tour through Zambia in July 2024. From there, our small group first set off in an off-road vehicle towards Mutinondo Wilderness, a private nature reserve in the north of the country. The program then included visits to a number of well-known national parks, including North and South Luangwa National Park, Luambe National Park and Lower Zambezi National Park. The wildlife we saw during our various game drives was impressive.

Zambia has so far been spared mass tourism and is rich in nature and wildlife. The South Luangwa National Park in particular is considered one of the best places for game viewing in Zambia. The concentration of animals in South Luangwa is one of the densest in the whole of Africa. It is also a photographer's paradise...
